I forget who said it but I heard that everyone gets to add a verse to the song of life. If that’s true, this is my verse, the contents of this website, my life’s work.

When people ask me what my favorite song of mine is I have to laugh. There’s something that they just don’t get, but I can’t blame them. I don’t quite get it myself. I’ve had as many snappy come backs for that as I’ve had for ‘how ya been?’...... they’re like my children,,,,the one that best suits the moment..... It’s like asking a heroin addict what his favorite hit of heroin is...........the next one I’m gonna write........ or I’ll just say Understand Under even though that would never be true, ha!

To a certain extent I think every single one of my songs is A) the same freaking song B) precious. Within each is a moment of grace I stumbled upon. And grace fixes everything, even if for just a moment. Every single song that ever came to me brought me that gift. Even the worst, the silliest, the angriest, the cheesiest, the saddest, every single song brought me grace.

Making this website has brought back a million musical memories and I want to thank my life and everyone that’s been a part of it. Thank you great musicians for playing with me. Thank you friends and family for believing in me and encouraging me. Thank you listeners for telling me that my dream comes true. We have made so much good music and we shall make a whole lot more.
